79 films for this year's competition program!
On Tuesday, May 6th, the selection committee of the 19th Youth Film Festival and the 7th Four River Film Festival consisting of Ana Đordić, Boško Picula and Jasna Žmak chose the films that are to be shown at this years’ YFF and FRFF programme.
The judges were literally swamped with the number of films sent by highschoolers’ from 30 countries thoughout the whole world.. The committee had to choose from the 104 films that were received for the YFF competition and the 260 films received for the FRFF competition those which they found to be the best, and it goes without saying that they had a hard time in doing so. Following the numerous hours of material watching, studying, compromising and thinking the decision was made, and their votes went to 79 films: 42 in FRFF and 37 in YFFF comeptition .
We offer our congratulations to the authors. We are looking forward to see you all in Karlovac from 17th – 21st of June, when, once again, the town takes on the role of the worlds’ capital of high school film, and all thanks to the following titles:
