Croatian Children’s Film Festival

It is one of the oldest film events in the Republic of Croatia taking place in a different city every year, and the only one dedicated exclusively to the filmmaking efforts of primary school children – whether their films are created within school groups or youth film clubs as part of extracurricular programs. Once a year, the most talented young Croatian filmmakers and their mentors come together, and over the course of four days, the very best of Croatian primary school cinema is screened on the big screen. With around 200 children and their mentors participating, the Festival stands out as one of the most welcoming and hospitable cultural events for children in Croatia.
