The documentary follows writer Robert Međurečan, a former member of the 102nd Brigade, who in 1991 took part in one of the Croatian Army’s most harrowing operations during the Homeland War. The loss of around seventy young soldiers on December 13, 1991, near Šišinac on the banks of the Kupa River left a profound mark on Međurečan, who confronted his traumatic experience through the novel Selling Medals, One Owner. In the film, Međurečan offers a detailed analysis of the events that led to the tragedy, addressing the true causes of the losses and the long-lasting impact of war on individuals and society.
