Fabijan Šovagović – in the films of Croatian directors

In memory of Fabijan Šovagović (1932–2001), the Croatian Film Directors’ Guild awards the annual "Fabijan Šovagović" prize to an actor or actress who has left a lasting mark on Croatian cinema. On the occasion of the award’s establishment—which has so far been given to Boris Dvornik (2001) and Mia Oremović (2002)—a commemorative film Fabijan Šovagović – in the films of Croatian directors was made. The famous actor appeared in over 60 films by Croatian directors, and the film features excerpts from all of them, along with statements from the filmmakers who worked with him. The film was screened at the 48th and 49th Pula Film Festival during the presentation of the "Fabijan Šovagović" award for best acting.
