About the Film
Exploring the intersection of sport and performance in ten image-scenes, Decathlon transforms sport into a form of physical theatre. Sports rules are compared to artistic performative-ritual processes, creating a unique hybrid. Instead of conventional sports rules and rituals, viewers of this "sports theatre" are presented with ten absurd situations.
