A commissioned documentary film created to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of Naftaplin, the central Yugoslav company for oil exploration, development, and production, which in the 1960s transformed into INA – Industrija nafte. Starting from the early days of oil exploitation and production in Croatia, the film traces technological advancement, gradual modernization, and the industrialization of society. It combines archival footage produced for Filmske novosti and the company itself, with a significant portion filmed by the director Ivica Hripko – one of the most prominent Croatian amateur filmmakers, who worked for decades as a cameraman for INA Naftaplin.
