Video Club "Mursa"

Cinema Club "Mursa" began its activities in 1973. In 1993, the name was changed to Video klub "Mursa." Since the 1990s, the club intensified work with children and youth. At the same time, adult authors are also active in the club, with Damir Tomić and Aleksandar Muharemović being the most prominent. In 2007, the club expanded its activities by founding an animation film section and school, which has been led by Nataša Dorić since its inception. The club has achieved results in the field of animation at children’s film reviews and international festivals. Since 2003, the club has continuously and successfully organized the Gastro Film Fest in Osijek. The work of individual members and the club itself has not gone unnoticed. In addition to numerous awards won by club members, the club has received several important recognitions, including: The Osijek-Baranja County Award in 1999 The Plaque for Contributions to the Development of Film and Video Creativity by the Croatian Film Association in 2004 The Charter of the Croatian Association of Technical Culture in 2012 The Plaque of UNICA (The World Association of Non-Professional Film) in 2013 The club has actively participated in the work of the Croatian Film Association for many years through its Assembly, Supervisory Board, and Executive Board.
