The Association Playful Active Loud (ZAG) was founded with the goal of film education for children and youth, protection of the rights of children with developmental difficulties, and gifted children included in regular education. Over the past 23 years, about six hundred participants from Zagreb have gone through the process from idea to the realization of a short film. They have produced around one hundred films that have been awarded at the Croatian Children's Film Creation Review (including Idealni jelovnik – The Perfect Menu, Moj materinski – My Mother Tongue, Lukas i superjunaci – Lukas and the Superheroes, Palac gore – Thumbs Up, Posao iz snova – Dream Job, Rand i Wassim), the Croatian School Film Review (Ne ustajem na lijevu – I Don’t Get Up on the Left Side, Sretno dijete – Happy Child, Klonovi – Clones), as well as at international film festivals (DUFF, FIFES, Camera Zizanio, Encorto Plasencia). ZAG leaders Melita Horvatek Forjan and Nataša Jakob conduct film education programs for primary school children, preschoolers, and educational staff through initiatives such as Film Wednesdays at the City Library of Zagreb (KGZ), methodological workshops in Kino mreža cinemas, the Creativity School "Novigradsko Proljeće," and the Media Culture School "Dr. Ante Peterlić."
