Photo-Cinema-Video Club Zaprešić

Photo-Cinema-Video Club Zaprešić, abbreviated as FKVK Zaprešić or FKVKZ, is a civic interest association founded in 1995. From its early years, the club has focused on film production by children and youth, and today—30 years later—it is recognized both nationally and internationally as one of the leading associations in this field. Our annual production has consistently included more than 20 films of various genres, created by 75 to 100 young authors throughout the year, under the mentorship of two regular instructors and, occasionally, external collaborators depending on resources. In its 30 years of existence, the club has produced over 600 films and participated in 590 national and international festivals, winning 218 first, 84 second, and 65 third prizes. In 2004, FKVK Zaprešić received the Croatian Film Association's plaque for "achievements in the field of children's and youth film and video production," and in 2012, the UNICA plaque for "outstanding contribution in organizing, educating, and popularizing film creativity in the Republic of Croatia."
