Avis Rara Studio (ARS) operates in the fields of film art and creation, film and theatre education and culture, contemporary visual culture, the organization of exhibitions and cultural events, as well as literature and publishing. A member of the Croatian Film Association since its foundation in 2010, ARS is based in the City of Vrbovec. In cooperation with the Croatian Film Association, ARS co-organized the 49th Review of Croatian Filmmaking (2017). The association has produced, filmed, and contributed to the scripting and production of numerous feature films and theatre performances such as: Red Golf, The Girl’s Nude, Trout, If You Want to Be Cheerful, Strudels, Faces, Richard III, Repetition of the Shape of Solitude, Now You Know, Breathing into Marble, and others. In 2019, ARS launched the “Artoratory” project, which later evolved into a new project and a separate association of the same name. It also participated in the "City from Another Perspective" project.
