Authors’ Studio – Photography, Film, Video has existed for over 33 years and nurtures amateur filmmaking, promoting Croatian film culture domestically and internationally. Its members have won numerous national and international awards at film and video festivals. The association places great emphasis on film and video education through workshops and courses. A special focus is on the animated film workshop “Z-animation” and the “Lego Animation” workshop aimed at children and youth. Other workshops and courses teach basics of video techniques, editing, screenplay writing, directing, and sound recording for films. For eight years, the studio has organized specialized film workshops titled “Like Zoran Tadić.” As a club, it has received three “UNICA” awards for best association and the “Oton Kučera” award for outstanding achievements. The studio enjoys strong cooperation with the Zagreb Photo Cinema Association and the Croatian Film Association. Authors’ Studio FFV primarily promotes and produces non-professional films that participate in festivals and reviews worldwide. The club also organizes film panels featuring prominent Croatian film theorists and authors. Its membership ranges from children and high school students to university students and retirees. Additionally, members organize four to five photography exhibitions annually. Technically, the studio is well equipped with multiple camera sets, lighting, sound equipment, and additional video devices. It has dedicated spaces for lectures and the digitization of film, video, and audio materials; a photo lab equipped for photographic techniques and film developing; and a sound studio and control room for recording and processing film music and sound synchronization.
