Audiovisual Center Dubrovnik (AVCD)

The award-winning association Audiovisual Center Dubrovnik (AVCD) has, since its founding in 2013, been systematically implementing interdisciplinary programs focused on technical culture, multimedia, and the contemporary influences of the 21st century, collectively referred to as “new media.” Over the past 10 years, all of the association's projects have been fully aligned with the Cultural Development Strategy of the City of Dubrovnik 2015–2025. The strategic goal of AVCD was further strengthened during Dubrovnik’s candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2020. AVCD has successfully collaborated with institutions of the City of Dubrovnik, international partner organizations, educational institutions, and a wide range of associations. In various projects, AVCD has acted either as the lead organizer or as a partner.

• Encouraging photo, radio, television, video, music and film production
• Education in electronic media, including technical and artistic aspects
• Organization of programs and events that promote multimedia creativity
