20th Youth Film Festival and 8th Four River Film Festival – application period extended till March 15!
Due to the large number of films that have arrived on the last day of the application period we decided to extend the application deadline for the Youth Film Festival to March 15.
Authors whose film was made after January 1, 2013 and who were not younger than 14 and older than 20 years at the time when their film was made can apply until March 15 on the page www.hfs.hr, under category festivals. Other conditions of entry can be found here.
The national 20th Youth Film Festival and international 8th Four River Film Festival, both dedicated to high school film, will this year be held from 23 to 27 June in Karlovac and organized by the Croatian Film Association and Cinema Club Karlovac.
Hit destination for high school film!
Young filmmakers push the boundaries of entertainment once again, put their artistic abilities to the test and sharpen all their senses in one of the most beautiful theatres in the world - on the banks of the four rivers of Karlovac, every night at another destination. Last year we had 365 entries from 36 countries of the world, 4,000 spectators and 150 international guests. These figures show that the festivals have become a hit among high school filmmakers.

The great Brazilian animated movie "Pseudo-evolution" took the Grand Prix at the 19th Youth Film Festival and 7th Four River Film Festival.
