Banananastic stand-up comedy with Marina Orsag and Aleksandar Curać Šarić!
Youth Film Festival and Four River Film Festival, which are to be held from 23 to 27 June 2015 in Karlovac, bring us the best stand-up comedians - Marina Orsag and Alexander Curać Šarić.
Marina's stand up career began more than 10 years ago, when her best friend saw a poster for the stand-up comedy workshop run by Slavica Knežević. She called Marina and told her: "If you don’t go to this workshop, I will stop talking to you." The rest is history. After numerous regular appearances at clubs in Zagreb and after the number of comedians continued growing, Marina concluded it was time for Zagreb to get its first comedy club, and along with a partner from Slovenia Andrej Težak, opened the first Croatian Comedy Club Studio of Laughter. At the same time she initiated cooperation with the Serbian stand-up comedy scene, which is still regular, and after a certain period of cooperation Marina realized that humor is a great weapon to combat prejudice and began to do such projects. The first in this series is a festival called "Balkan Revolution of Consciousness" starring comedians from the whole region. This was followed by the "KAJ BRE" which breaks prejudice relations between Croatia and Serbia, and "LAUGH OUT PROUD" for breaking homophobia and "FEMME FRONTAL". She has performed in London, Budapest. Amsterdam, Sofia and Barcelona. In 2013 she won the award Adria's best female stand-up comedian on the Stand Up Adria Awards in Macedonia, and in 2014 at the LENT Festival in Maribor she won the first prize of the audience. Marina is currently the director or, as she likes to call the "bucket for all" of the only stand-up club in Croatia - "Studio of Laughter".

Aleksandar, called Aleks, already has five years of experience and about 400 performances all over the country and abroad. With favourite topics being male-female relationships, behaviour of alpha males and meaningless products they bombard us with in commercials, he easily communicates with the audience, and it often leads to very positive reactions.
