Function of Film in the Third Reich — Entertainment Film

The paper (excerpts from the
chapter of Hillmar Hoffman’s book 100 Jahre Film von Lumi#re
bis Splilberg 1894-1994) deals with that side of Goebbels’
propaganda politics which considered entertainment films
to be the most effective means of propaganda. The films
that realized this politics and the ways they did it are
reviewed.
