The works of Ivan Ladislav Galeta are very often, but
not necessarily, marked by a perceptive (optical) game
with disharmonies, paradoxes, extraordinariness. The
text’s starting point is the analysis of the characteristics
of Galeta’s discourse and organization, as well
as their implications in terms of experiences/worldview.
The emphasis is put first of all on his works
from the 1970s and 1980s, i.e. his films, videos and
photographs (TV ping-pong, Water Pulu 1869 • 1896,
