FESTIVALS
Woman’s Tie
15th Days of Croatian Film, Zagreb, April 25-29, 2006
Days of Croatian Film have offered a series
of very good films this year. Although in the competition
program number of Croatian established authors presented
their work, new names won recognition for the quality. Women
authors especially distinguished themselves. The selection
was somewhat better than the last year’s, first of all because
of the excellent intimate drama Nije da znam nego je to
tako by Tanja Golić.
The winner of the Jury Award Što
sa sobom preko dana, by Ivona Juka and Nemam ti
šta reć’ ljepo, by Goran Dević especially distinguished
themselves in the unnecessarily overcrowded documentary
films’ selection. The animated selection was excellent
in quality, first of all the films by Simon Bogojević
Narath (Levijatan),
Ana Hušman (Plac), Davor Međurečan and Marko Meštrović
(Silencium), David Peroša Bonnot (Soldier).
The selection of the experimental film was not so good
this year; the most interesting film was Autoportret by
Ivan Faktor. Goran Kovač |
