FROM THE HISTORY OF CROATIAN FILM STUDIES

The poets Krklec and Ljubić – pioneers of Croatian “filmistics”

In this contribution to the research on the history of Croatian writing on cinema the wider public is, for the first time, familiarized with the early filmological considerations of two poets, Pere Ljubić and Gustav Krklec, who thereby join the already known authors who also did some writing on film along the way (Milutin Cihlar Nehajev, Ivan Goran Kovačić, Ranko Marinković). The article provides an introductory note and copies of the original texts.
