FROM THE HISTORY OF CROATIAN CINEMA

Man of style

Vladimir Vuković (Našice, October 3, 1930 — Zagreb, November 24, 1991)

Author — the esteemed Croatian film director and publicist — in a literalised journalistic review presents intimate recollections of Vladimir Vuković, cult film critic, after whom the annual award of the Film Critics Society, awarded to Krelja this year was named. In a biographical and memory review, the text offers a wider insight into film and critical deliberations and world view of Vladimir Vuković, which had a crucial impact on a whole generation of film critics in the 1970s.
