Five act piece

With great inspiration and numerous associations, the author of the essay comments on restored Croatian films from the 1960s and 1970s, screened in the programme Time Machine, focussing primarily on how they were perceived in the past and today: An Accidental Life (1969) by Ante Peterlić, A Green Pine Tree Grows on the Hill (1971) by Antun Vrdoljak, Voyage to the Accident Site (1971) by Zvonimir Berković, House (1975) by Bogdan Žižić, Peasant Uprising (1975) by Vatroslav Mimica, and The Fourth Companion (1967) by B. Bauer.
