“I was able to follow from the window of my apartment the construction, in all its stages, of an office building in the yard of a police station in Zagreb. During the time that the site was in preparation I was dealing with artistic poetics granting special attention to surveillance cameras or voyeurism in the name of state institutions. For “safety reasons” there are more and more public and private spaces in a city being put under surveillance nowadays. One secretly placed camera, turned towards a repressive institution, should not disturb the balance in my city.”
