Krešimir Mikić
Born in 1949, in Samobor. Graduated at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, Faculty of Philosophy and Faculty of Political Sciences (journalism). He went through specialist training in Hollywood. He is working as a media pedagogue, academy lecturer at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, Faculty of Design and the Teachers' Academy, and as a guest lecturer at higher education artistic institutions in München, Berlin, Graz, Salzburg, and others. He is president of the European Association of Media Pedagogues (München), vice-president of the International Institute for Media and Children (Hollywood), and member of the American Film Academy since September 2006. He authored several books on film and numerous expert articles (focussing on film technique and film shooting, and research of the media and children relationship). He won the national award Ivan Filipović (2002). He shot numerous non-professional films (Film Author Group, Enthusia planck, Samobor, who is the founder), several educational films, a series of promotional films, TV documentaries (Zagreb, München, Dortmund), etc.
